Coming up 2011: Movie soundtrack soundscapes, the decent Did you hear that? It`s here, yes, it`s here! Be quiet. Not a sound. Not a sound.

RELEASE April: Sample DVD at ZERO-G (www.zero-g.co.uk)

Sound library DVD with 400 urban modular beats, drums, membranes and wierd loops. Playing time will be about 1 hour 40 minutes.

This pioneering project will take modular technology one step further and push the bondaries of what is possible. All drum sounds are

made using only oscillators as sound source. No drums, drum machines, no samples, no multipurpose modules, just raw osc`s, filters and

painstaking work. It`s not your typical blip blop synthy loppish thingy. The goal with a great deal of the loops is to make them impossible to distinct from real drums, with other loops the goal is to make you wonder; how the hell did they do that? Frodebeats is very excited about

releasing this one.

The DVD will be a great addition for any urban pop producer, movie soundtracker and the odd experimentalist.

REAL DRUMS. For real. making samples is the most interesting thing any human beeing can spend time on. In an ideal world everyone would, like us, waste 4 days trying to make the modular sound like a real acustic drumset. Bang, tchi tchack, bang, tchi tchack

BUILDING THE ARP

Building of the ARP, if anyone`s interested

Long before Moog there was, Raymond Scott,

electronics genius, inventing the sequencer, calling it THE WALL OF SOUND,

using hundreds of switches controlling stepping relays, timing solenoids,

tone circuits and 16 individual oscillators. If you walked behind the wall

during the operation the music produced would be all but drowned out by the

cacophonous klickety-klack of the relays as they switched positions.

THE FASCINATION MACHINE was another invention. The device was a

selfgenerating sound device constructed to give "soothing sounds

for the home or workplace" and finally his masterpiece and lifelong

project, the device he built cannabalizing all his other inventions

rendering them usless, The machine that was once and for was gonna

get rid of musicians, the selfcomposing ELECTRONIUM. Item was

ordered and partly funded by Motown, costing way to much money.

Inteded use for Motown was an inspirational tool for composers.
